    Summary

    Adjunct Faculty Family Medicine Residency Program Opportunity with Samaritan Health Services

    Samaritan Health Services is seeking an Adjunct Faculty Physician to join our Family Medicine Residency Program. This role offers the opportunity to support resident education while maintaining an active and rewarding clinical practice. Our program is grounded in academic excellence, community engagement, and compassionate, patient‑centered care in Oregon’s beautiful mid‑Willamette Valley.

    Position Overview

    40% Academic Responsibilities | 60% Clinical Practice

    Academic Responsibilities

    • Supervise and teach residents in outpatient, inpatient, and/or obstetric settings appropriate to their level of training
    • Collaborate with Core Faculty and the Program Director to support ACGME accreditation standards
    • Participate in curriculum delivery, didactics, and residency conferences
    • Engage in scholarly activity and support resident scholarly projects
    • Participate in ongoing faculty development initiatives

    Clinical Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive, team‑based family medicine care
    • Practice in a 5‑Star Patient‑Centered Primary Care Home (PCPCH) with integrated behavioral health and pharmacy support
    • Outpatient clinical practice with optional inpatient and/or obstetric activities based on experience and interest
    • Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system
    • Phone call only

    Qualifications

    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
    • Strong clinical, teaching, and communication skills
    • Commitment to resident education and team‑based care
    • Eligibility to work in the United States
