North Oaks Health in Hammond, LA has an immediate need for a GME Medical Director (Family Medicine).
The Program Director leads and administers the Family Medicine Residency, ensuring compliance with ACGME requirements and delivering a high-quality educational experience. The Program Director recruits and mentors faculty, oversees curriculum, supports resident development, and aligns program goals with institutional and community needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee program leadership, accreditation, and operations
- Recruit and evaluate faculty; foster professional growth
- Guide residents through curriculum, milestones and scholarly activity
- Maintain compliance with ACGME standards, including duty hours and evaluations
- Promote resident wellness, scholarly output, and community engagement
Qualifications:
- MD/DO with ABMS/AOA board certification in Family Medicine
- Eligible/licensed in Louisiana
- >3 years documented faculty/administrative experience in an ACGME Family Medicine program
- Demonstrated leadership and teaching expertise
Preferred:
- Prior Program Director / Assistant Program Director experience, professional organization leadership, QI/population health experience
