    Overview of the Role:

    This role places you at the forefront of patient care within a thriving Family Medicine department. As a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will play an integral role in delivering holistic healthcare services. By joining this passionate team, you will contribute significantly to enhancing patient outcomes through comprehensive clinical support and patient education. Your work will directly address health access issues in a diverse community environment.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct patient histories and physical exams.
    • Assess clinical status and develop care plans.
    • Order and perform lab and screening tests per protocol.
    • Collaborate with physicians and refer cases as needed.
    • Develop assessments and coordinate patient care.
    • Administer treatments and medications per guidelines.
    • Ensure quality care through protocol adherence.
    • Participate in quality assurance, training, and clinical meetings.
    • Educate patients on health and prevention; recommend resources.
    • Mentor peers and instruct students and residents.
    • Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
    • Provide after-hours call coverage and resolve complaints.
    • Join site committees and suggest patient service improvements.
    • Assist in updating clinical protocols and procedures.
     

    Requirements:

    • Diploma from an accredited NP or PA program with certification.
    • Current CA medical license, Board Certification, and DEA license.
    • Valid CPR certification.
    • Strong communication, judgment, and interpersonal skills.
    • Professional representation and relationship management.
    • Ability to interpret professional and technical documents.
    • Physically capable of meeting job demands.
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

     

    Benefits & Perks:

    • Competitive salary: $148,627.20 – $197,817.60 annually.
    • Comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Retirement plans.
    • 29 days of annual paid time off, including PTO, CE days, and holidays, with tenure-based increases.
    • Loan repayment/forgiveness up to $300,000.
    • Sign-on bonus: Up to $25,000 (prorated to FTE).
    • Relocation assistance: Up to $15,000.
    • Additional $10,000 for relocating a parent or parent-in-law.
