Family Medicine Physician - Clinic

The Staff Pad has partnered with a growing healthcare organization in Las Vegas, New Mexico, to find a Family Medicine Physician or Internal Medicine Physician. This is an excellent opportunity to build a thriving practice while enjoying an exceptional quality of life in northern New Mexico. Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible shifts (4x10 hour shifts or 3x12 hour shifts) | No call responsibilities

Hours: Monday to Thursday (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) | Friday: (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages
  
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
  
• Perform preventive care, annual wellness exams, and health screenings
  
• Develop individualized treatment plans and manage ongoing patient care
  
• Perform routine in-office procedures as appropriate
  
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
  
• Educate patients on treatment plans, preventive care, and healthy lifestyles
  
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR)
  
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff
  
• Build and maintain a strong patient panel while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
  

What We Are Looking For

Education, Certifications and Experience

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  
• Active New Mexico medical license or ability to obtain licensure
  
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain) ; Current BLS certification
  
• 3-5 years of previous Family Medicine experience preferred
  
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
  

Additional Skills & Requirements

• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient management skills
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment
  
• Comfortable working with varying daily patient volumes (Avg of approx. 5 procedures/day)
