Founded in 1971, we believe that the quality of your health care should not depend on how much money you make, what language you speak or what your health is, because everyone deserves great care.
Position Summary:

The HealthPoint non-core Family Medicine Residency Faculty Member performing Adult Inpatient Medicine is responsible for educating and supervising residents while practicing adult inpatient and transitional care medicine in accordance with standards of competency defined by the residency program and hospital. It is dedicated to serving the underserved and vulnerable, where care is complicated by limited resources and high rates of psychiatric and socioeconomic disease. Care is to be provided by the residency teaching service in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, community partners and hospitals, though the Faculty Member remains ultimately responsible for the patient's outcome.
Educational responsibilities require the Faculty Member to work closely with residents as both a teacher and mentor. The residents shall receive high-quality training in inpatient and transitional care medicine, with the goal of fostering growth and competency in these realms. Teaching and supervision are to be commensurate with the resident's learning level and are to be aligned with the Residency's mission.
