Our Community Health Clinic is searching for a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our holistic healthcare ministry of more than 300 employees, including providers and support staff. Schedule Normal schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Schedule may vary. On call is required on a rotating basis.
Position highlights
Our physicians provide professional medical services to complement the delivery of primary health care service.
Our physicians provide clinical leadership and supervision of Advanced Practice Providers and medical support staff.
Our providers work closely with the Chief Medical Officer to ensure quality of care.
We provide the administrative and clinical support needed to allow you to focus on practicing medicine – the reason you became a Physician!

Duties & Responsibilities:
Ability to strongly embrace and personify our mission and values with socio-economic and cultural sensitivity in mind.
Compassion for patients, family members, and others; along with a nurturing spirit to provide care during stressful situations.
Provide medical evaluation, treatment, and consultation services to patients of the clinic.
Available to respond to emergencies and answer medical questions.
Provides medical orders for prescription refills, administration of medications, ancillary testing, and/or referrals.
Reviews ancillary test results and coordinates notification to the patient.
Provides patient education as needed.
Supervises patient care by non-clinic agencies such as home health care, nursing home, or hospice.
Available to patients personally or through clinical staff to answer questions and relay information regarding their care.
Participates in on-call rotation schedule.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree
State of Kansas MD or DO licensure
Board certification in specialty preferred
Current DEA certificate.
Maintains appropriate licensure and certification including meeting and/or exceeding CME requirements.
Experience
Public Health experience preferred
Medical Office, specifically nonprofit or FQHC setting experience preferred
FQHC or public healthcare setting experience preferred.
?Recent graduates are welcome to apply but must be board certified before working
