Job Description

UNC Family Medicine at Hillsborough is hiring a Physician! Located in the heart of Hillsborough, UNC Family Medicine at Hillsborough is a full-service family practice, treating both children and adults. Our care team provides compassionate and personalized care.

Services:

  • EKG and pulmonary-function testing
  • Concussion management
  • Diabetes education
  • Healthy lifestyle education
  • HIV PrEP
  • Immunizations
  • Joint and soft-tissue injections
  • Management of acute and chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes
  • Medication Therapy for Opioid Use Disorder
  • Nutrition counseling
  • Physicals
  • Preventative care
  • Screening tests
  • Sports medicine including nonsurgical orthopedic procedures
  • Well-child visits
  • Women's health

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Job Qualifications:

  • Medical School Graduate (MD/DO)
  • Board-certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • NC State License preferred

Education Requirements:

  • Meeting the Board Certification requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of medicine

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

  • DEA
  • ACLS
  • MD

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

  • Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.
  • REASONING ABILITY: High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • North Carolina Medical License
  • DEA License
  • BLS/ACLS certification preferred
  • Board-certified in Internal Medicine
