The Family Medicine Physician provides comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare services to individuals and families of all ages within a community-focused environment. Provides and manages direct patient care for a designated patient population, including performing physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment. Prescribes pharmaceuticals, medications, and appropriate treatment plans based on assessed medical conditions, and refers patients to specialists and other relevant healthcare services as needed to support comprehensive patient care.
The Family Medicine Physician Minimum Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine
- Around 3 years of relevant clinical experience, which may include residency in Family Medicine or a related specialty preferred
- Current Federal DEA certification
