Position Highlights
Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for patients of all ages in an outpatient setting
Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and complex medical conditions
Perform comprehensive evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning
Order and interpret laboratory, imaging, and specialty diagnostic tests
Deliver preventive care, health maintenance, and patient education
Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, specialists, and support staff
Document patient encounters using Athena EMR
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and performance metrics
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and credentialing requirements
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, specialists, and administrative teams
Attend team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education sessions
Foster a supportive, collaborative, and patient-focused culture
Minimum Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency program
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Active or pending unrestricted Texas medical license
Active or pending DEA certification
Proficiency with EMRs and modern computer systems
Preferred Experience
2+ years of clinical practice experience
Experience with Athena EMR
Skills & Competencies
Strong diagnostic and clinical problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal communication and bedside manner
Ability to manage patients with multiple chronic and complex conditions
Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
