About the Opportunity
Search Station is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving the Berkshire County region of Western Massachusetts. This is a full-time opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join a dedicated, collaborative team providing comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population. The role reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Active Massachusetts medical license or eligibility to obtain
- Electronic medical records (EMR) experience required
- 1+ years of clinical experience (new graduates with strong training backgrounds welcome)
- Spanish language proficiency a plus
- Comfortable seeing patients of all ages
Scope of Work
- Provide comprehensive and continuing care to patients including routine and emergency office-based care
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, diagnose, treat, and develop individualized healthcare plans
- Prescribe medications and perform and interpret laboratory procedures within scope of practice
- Maintain accurate and complete electronic medical records
- Provide health promotion, preventive care, case management, and patient education
- Participate in the on-call physician group
- Support quality assurance and utilization review through patient care audits
- Provide supervision to allied health staff and residents involved in patient care delivery
- Maintain medical knowledge through continuing education programs
