Job Summary:The Family Medicine Physician provides comprehensive medical care including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illness for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations. This role focuses on delivering high quality, patient centered care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support overall health and wellness.
Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care in outpatient clinic, urgent care, and hospital settings
Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
Prescribe medications, treatments, and preventative care plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and medical reports
Maintain accurate and timely patient records using electronic health systems
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients on health conditions, treatments, and preventative care
Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
Participate in quality, safety, and patient engagement initiatives
Serve on medical staff committees as needed
Requirements:Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited institution
Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program
Board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine
Active and unrestricted medical license in the United States
Strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills
Experience with electronic health records preferred
Schedule: Full time
Setting: Outpatient clinic with urgent care and hospital responsibilities
