South Plains Rural Health Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable and patient-focused Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. This position provides primary care services to patients in a rural health clinic setting while working closely with physicians, nursing staff, and clinical support teams to deliver quality patient care.Schedule:Full-timeMonday–Thursday 8-5| Friday 8-12 What You'll Do:Assess, diagnose, treat, and monitor acute and chronic medical conditionsPerform complete physical examinations and patient assessmentsObtain and document patient medical historiesOrder and interpret routine diagnostic tests, labs, and x-raysPrescribe medications and develop treatment plans within scope of practiceEducate and counsel patients and families on health management and preventionCollaborate with physicians and healthcare team members regarding patient careRefer patients to specialists or higher levels of care when necessaryMaintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the EHRParticipate in quality improvement and patient care initiativesFollow infection control and patient safety guidelinesWhat You'll Bring:Current Family Nurse Practitioner license in TexasGraduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner programCurrent CPR/BLS certificationStrong clinical assessment and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentExperience in primary care or rural health preferredBilingual English/Spanish preferredPay & Benefits:Competitive salary based on experienceMedical, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, and paid holidaysEmployer-paid life insuranceEligible employees and dependents may receive clinic services at a discounted rateHRSA/NHSC Loan Repayment eligible site may be availableLanguage:English requiredSpanish preferredLicense/Certification:Texas APRN License requiredFamily Nurse Practitioner Certification requiredDEA certification preferredCPR/BLS certification requiredAs part of South Plains Rural Health Services, Inc.'s commitment to patient and staff safety, all employees are required to comply with the annual influenza vaccination policy.
