Master’s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
Current National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
Active NP/APRN license in the state where applying
Active RN license in good standing
Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in:Family Medicine
Primary Care Practice
Urgent Care
BLS certification from American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) required
High School Diploma or GED required
Must provide:Screenshot of active BLS certification
Screenshot of active NP license

Experience managing chronic disease conditions and quality measurements

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Responsibilities
Provide primary and family medicine evidence-based care, including:Patient assessment
Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health conditions
Medication management
Health counseling and education
Care coordination and disposition planning
Perform routine examinations and diagnostic testing to support diagnosis and treatment decisions
Manage chronic disease conditions while focusing on quality outcomes and preventative care
Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices, wellness, screenings, and disease prevention
Support behavioral health and wellness initiatives
Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to maintain comprehensive treatment plans
Complete patient follow-up and maintain accurate clinical documentation
Verify insurance information and collect patient payments
Assist with administrative clinic responsibilities, including opening/closing procedures and inventory management
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
