    Family Nurse Practitioner for Child/Adolescent Facility - Southern NH

    Location: Milton, NH

    Hours: 40

    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    A Child and Adolescent residential facility is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join its multi-disciplinary team due to ongoing growth and further expansion. This private facility offers the best care for its youth residents and highly sought after to treat and overcome common behavioral health disorders. The FNP will integrate as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

    • Perform basic H&Ps for new admissions
    • Medically clear discharges
    • Acute medical needs: coughs, infections, bumps, bruises, etc.
    • Maintain accurate documentation
    • Collaborate with team of therapists, nurses, PMHNP, and Psychiatrist
    • Paid call stipend

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide focused medical care in Residential Treatment setting
    • Evaluate incoming patients for conditions to confirm known and unknown diagnoses. Residents' medical history cleared by admissions team prior to arrival.
    • Provide medical treatment on as-needed basis for concerns that may arise
    • Assess outgoing patients prior to discharge
    • Guide, collaborate with multi-disciplinary team of Nurses, LCSWs, and Psychiatrists.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • FNP Board Certification.

    • Active, unrestricted medical license in NH required or ability to obtain.

    • Ability to obtain licenses in CA, ID, and ME for call coverage.

    • Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.

    • Experience in Psychiatry or Behavioral Health not required.
