What You'll Do:
- Deliver comprehensive family healthcare services in a busy, collaborative practice setting.
- Manage a balanced panel of pediatric and adult patients, ensuring timely and effective care.
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide patient education.
- Complete charting within 72 hours, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Required Skills:
- Valid California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Certification in CA Controlled Substance Education Course (for PAs).
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DEA Schedule II license.
- Experience with panel management in primary care settings, ideally 3+ years.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills.
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Capable of closing charts within 72 hours and managing a minimum of 18 patients per day.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Pediatric care experience (preferred but not required).
- Bilingual skills to serve diverse communities.
- Additional certifications or training in chronic disease management.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Masters degree in Nursing (for NPs) or similar advanced degree.
- At least 3 years of primary care experience with panel management.
- Previous work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Other Requirements:
- Immunizations required prior to credentialing, including Flu, TB, MMR, Hep B, Varicella Zoster, and Tdap.
- Completed CA Controlled Substance Education Course.
- Ability to start by May 12, 2026, with credentialing taking 30-90 days.
- Willingness to provide a 30-day notice for transition from current role.
