Shift: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Pacific Time)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide same-day and acute ambulatory care services in a collaborative outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while working within the scope of granted clinical privileges and IHS standards.

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution

• Current Family Nurse Practitioner certification (AANP, ANCC, or equivalent)

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in any U.S. state or territory

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in ambulatory care, primary care, or urgent care

• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)

• Experience documenting in an Electronic Health Record (EHR)

• Ability to obtain and maintain IHS credentialing, clinical privileges, and security clearance

• Ability to meet IHS credentialing and background requirements

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and same-day healthcare needs.

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform procedures within clinical privileges.

• Document patient encounters accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

• Coordinate referrals and higher levels of care when clinically appropriate.

• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.

• Maintain compliance with IHS policies, patient safety, infection control, and quality standards.

• Participate in required credentialing, training, and quality improvement activities.
