We are currently seeking a PRN Family or Internal Medicine Physicians who is passionate about practicing medicine with purpose. Schedule & Flexibility We are seeking a provider who would be available to work on Fridays from 8:00am - 5:00pm. What Makes Health by Design Different Value-Based Care in Action Focus on outcomes, prevention, and patient engagement--not volume Smaller patient panels that allow for deeper, more impactful care Emphasis on lifestyle medicine, education, and long-term wellness Time to Truly Care 30- and 60-minute appointment times Low daily volume (8-14 patients) No RVUs or productivity quotas--your focus stays on delivering high-quality care NO fee-for-service (insuance) Team-Based Support Collaborate with experienced Registered Nurses and a Licensed Professional Counselor Strong administrative and clinical support so you can practice at the top of your license Faith-Based, Mission-Driven Culture Rooted in compassion, integrity, and service A shared commitment to doing what's right--for patients, providers, and the community Responsibilities: Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining, and treating clinical patients in order to meet their needs Educates patients on wellness, prevention, and early detection by providing materials and resources to the patients Determines which referrals are required based on examination and patient needs Determines level of urgency of follow-up, referral/consultation appointments Exercises final medical judgment in all issues of health care Prescribes medical treatment and clinical drugs to patients Orders studies, test, and ancillary services Documents all services in patient medical record in the EHR (Elation) Reviews on a regular basis long term cases that require ongoing medical attention Consults with Physician Lead, Director of Medicine, and other professionals on staff as needed regarding patient care, assessment, and educational issues Assists as needed in the resolution of complaints, requests, and inquiries from patients Maintains confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations
