Family Physician ~ Central MA

Under the direction of the Medical Director, the Primary Care Physician provides comprehensive and continuous primary care to a panel of patients in a multispecialty practice to include pediatric, behavioral health, urgent care, and specialty services to our local communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide and manage direct primary care services, including physical examinations, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for individuals and families.

• Practice collaboratively with Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Psychologists, nursing, and clinical support staff.

• Prescribe pharmaceuticals, medications, and treatment regimens in accordance with medical conditions and safety standards.

• Refer patients to specialists and external care components as appropriate.

• Participate in on-call coverage rotation and potential Urgent Care shifts.

• Maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards, adhering to departmental policies and continuous quality improvement goals.

• Engage in health promotion, disease prevention programs, patient education, and training of clinical staff or students as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) with Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine.

• Active, unrestricted licensure by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine.

• Current DEA, DEA-X, and Massachusetts Controlled Substance (MCSR) registrations.

• Active ACLS or CPR/AED certification.

• Eligible for unrestricted health center and hospital clinical privileges.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation & Financial Incentives

• Sign-On Bonus: $30,000 (for full-time, direct hires).

• Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000.
