  • Licenses/Certs: MD or DO from an accredited US/Canadian medical school, unrestricted medical license, DEA, BLS
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year recent family practice experience
  • Board Certification: Board certification in Family Practice by the American Board of Family Practice

  • 1099 All Inclusive Pay Rate: $135.00/hour (weekly pay via direct deposit)

What You'll Do
  • Provide primary care services including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care for diverse patient populations
  • Document clinical encounters accurately and thoroughly
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions across multiple clinics in Portsmouth and nearby locations
  • Maintain compliance with all healthcare policies, safety protocols, and legal standards
What You Need
  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Unrestricted medical license in Virginia
  • Valid DEA and BLS certifications
  • At least 1 year of recent family practice experience
  • Board certification in Family Practice by the American Board of Family Practice
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Willingness to work on Fridays and flexible hours as needed
Preferred
  • Experience in military or federal healthcare settings
  • Additional certifications in emergency medicine or specialized family practice
  • Bilingual language skills
  • Experience supervising medical staff or students
