Family Services Coordinator

A position within the Family and Community Partnership component, working with families of HCS Head Start.

Education and Certification Requirements

• LSWA license preferred, and related experience is required.
• Associate’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services or related field required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services or related field preferred.

Qualities and Skills

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Computer Literacy: Word processing and Database skills preferred.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a diverse workplace.
• Effective and strong telephone communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in a professional manner.
• Ability and willingness to work as a team member.
• Ability to maintain and adhere to boundary guidelines.
• Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 119, Section 51-A, you are a mandated reporter and held to the statutory reporting requirements.

Additional Requirements

• Dependable transportation, including necessary automobile insurance, is required.
• Maintain current valid driver’s license.

Starting Pay: $26.23 - $28.91 per hour depending on education

Full Time: 40 hours per week

Full Year: 52 weeks per year
