WHO WE ARE
The Institute for Family Development (IFD) is an international leader in providing services that keep children safe, strengthen families, and reduce out of home placement. IFD’s internationally recognized, evidenced–based, Homebuilders program has openings for full-time, in-home therapists in King County, Washington. Homebuilders is one of the oldest and most effective “intensive family preservation” programs in the country, and IFD is one of the largest providers of home-based counseling services for families in Washington State and across the country. IFD also currently works with over 60 teams across 14 states and British Columbia helping them implement Homebuilders programs in their communities.

WHO WE WANT TO HIRE
We are looking for therapists/counselors with a commitment to making a difference in the lives of children, youth and families.
Homebuilders therapists:- Maintain a small caseload of an average of 2 families.
- Work with families intensively in their homes, schools and communities for 4-6 weeks.
- Schedule client sessions at times that are most helpful to families.
- Maintain availability to respond to their assigned families for emergencies or arrange coverage within their team if unavailable.

Competitive Compensation- Master's degree: $60,078 - $64,556 annual salary, DOE
- Hiring bonus

- This is a non-exempt position that qualifies for overtime compensation
HOW TO JOIN OUR TEAM
Requirements:- Graduate degrees in social work, psychology, human services or related field preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, a vehicle in good working condition, and automobile liability insurance that meets minimum agency requirements.
- Residence in or near King County, Washington.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule to meet client needs (including some evenings and weekends).
- Satisfactory completion of a criminal history background check.
- At least 21 years of age.
