Job Description

As a Family Therapist at Flourishing Peaceful Families, you will provide non-medical therapeutic services that strengthen family relationships and promote healthy communication. You will work with families to identify challenges, develop strategies for problem-solving, and build resilience as a unit.



Responsibilities:

• Conduct family therapy sessions to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and support healthier dynamics.
  
  
  
• Provide psychoeducation to families about relationship patterns and strategies for growth.
  
  
  
• Support families experiencing transitions, stress, or trauma.
  
  
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date family records, treatment plans, and documentation.
  
  
  
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
  
  
  
• Participate in professional development and regular team meetings.
  
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  
  
  
• State licensure or certification.
  
  
  
• Proven experience working with families in therapeutic settings.
  
  
  
• Strong skills in communication, mediation, and systems thinking.
  
  
  
  

Ability to work independently and within a team structure.
