    The Far Field Range Execution Lead is a key member of the LTAMDS Array IPT responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of RF hardware and array-level test operations. This role begins with an immersive rotation in Andover, MA, learning LTAMDS array behavior and Near Field testing, side by side with existing team during the next LTAMDS build. The knowledge gained will directly support leadership of Far Field Range activities in Portsmouth, RI, including building a new test execution team and getting the site ready by partnering with test engineering.


    What You Will Do

    • Participate in structured rotation in Andover, MA to learn LTAMDS array functionality and Near Field test processes.

    • Apply Near Field knowledge to Far Field test execution.

    • Stand up, train, and lead a new Portsmouth, RI Far Field Range execution team.

    • Prepare the Portsmouth site for operation by partnering with Andover test engineering.

    • Serve as independent execution lead for Far Field Range and array-level readiness activities.

    • Own Far Field Range products associated with array testing and delivery.

    • Execute to plan the phased array testing on multiple simultaneous Far Field ranges.

    • Lead multi-discipline teams and convey technical status to the program

    • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Software Engineering.

    • Support development, integration, production, and proposals.

    • Apply EVMS methodologies and support capital planning.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Math, or related STEM field.

    • Minimum 8 years of engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.

    • Experience with Near and Far Field range testing.

    • Experience with development, integration, test, and production support of RF subsystems.

    • Strong background in phased array analysis and signal processing (Matlab & Linux).

    • Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

    Qualifications We Value:

    • Experience in design, test, and sell-off of military systems.

    • Experience with RCCA, FRACAS, MRB, PCB, and CCB processes.

    • Experience leading hardware subsystem development activities.

    • Experience managing cost and schedule using EVMS.

    • Master’s degree in STE

    The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
