Farm Equipment Operator / Mechanic (Seasonal)

Location: Waterman, IL

Season: Mid-August through October (end date may vary based on harvest)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with additional hours during peak harvest as needed

Pay: $15.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience

We are seeking a dependable Farm Equipment Operator / Mechanic to assist during the fall harvest season. The ideal candidate will have previous farm experience, be comfortable operating agricultural equipment, and be willing to perform a variety of farm-related duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor pulling a grain cart during harvest.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on farm equipment.
• Complete general farm duties as assigned.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Previous farm experience is required.
• Experience operating a tractor with a grain cart is preferred.
• Semi-truck driving experience is a plus.
• Mechanical skills preferred.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
