Farm Maintenance Technician - Bladen, Duplin, Pender, Sampson Counties

AGRICULTURE FARM MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

LOCATIONS: BLADEN, DUPLIN, PENDER, AND SAMPSON COUNTIES

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment as well as repairing and installing physical structures
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing pipe and electrical systems in our farm facilities
• Maintaining and repairing electrical generators, including diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the efficient operation of power generation systems across various applications, often working on both portable and stationary generators
• Operates various machine tools such as saws, hammer, drill and milling, cutting torch or wiring equipment.
• Regularly serves as "on call" technician for weekends and holidays.
• Responds to emergency needs when not "on call."
• Will attend any needed classes as needed to improve skills.
• Supervisor may assign other duties.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a valid NC Drivers License and acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift 50 lbs. or more.
