    Job Duties

    Perform daily duties of a large farm operation which includes production of row crops, vegetable crops, beef cattle program, maintenance of buildings, grounds, roadways and the operation and maintenance of all farm equipment utilizing inmate workforce. Provide training, supervision and evaluation to inmate workforce while performing all farm tasks.

    Minimum Qualifications

    General knowledge of farm operation, agriculture production, maintenance and operation of farm equipment. Demonstrated ability to supervise, follow written and oral instructions, keep accurate records and solve practical problems. High School diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.

    Additional Considerations

    Agricultural, construction or equipment experience. Possession of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and Pesticide Application Permit or the ability to obtain them.

Marijuana use is prohibited for positions that require possession of a firearm or a Commercial Driver’s License in the performance of official duties such as Corrections Officers, Probation Officers, Tractor Trailer Drivers and others.
