Heather Dickerson Agency, Farmers Insurance, is seeking a highly motivated and driven Insurance Sales Producer to join our team in Newport Beach, CA.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business accounts by prospecting, networking, and leveraging leads provided by the agency. You will identify client needs, present tailored insurance solutions, and build lasting relationships with business owners across multiple industries. This is a fast-paced, performance-driven sales position where your success is directly tied to your ability to meet production goals and generate revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, contact, and develop new accounts through networking, referrals, cold calls, and community engagement
  • Follow up with leads provided by the agency and convert them into active clients
  • Conduct needs assessments with business owners to recommend appropriate coverage solutions
  • Present and explain policy options clearly and professionally
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while consistently pursuing new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with agency staff to prepare quotes, proposals, and submissions
  • Stay current with Farmers products, industry trends, and underwriting guidelines
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales goals

Requirements
  • Active California Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain quickly)
  • Prior experience in insurance sales
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with prospecting, networking, and cold-calling
  • Proficiency with technology and agency management systems
  • Prior experience with Farmers, Allstate, State Farm or other insurance carriers a plus
