Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed new business production goals and agency objectives
- Prepare and present insurance quotes; deliver strong sales presentations and close sales opportunities
- Build and maintain professional relationships with referral partners (Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, and others)
- Educate clients on insurance options including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial lines
- Accurately complete applications and documentation while following all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements
- Use CRM (AgencyZoom) to track leads, follow-ups, and sales pipeline activity
- Provide excellent customer service and follow-up to build long-term client relationships

- Active California Property & Casualty Insurance License (or willingness to obtain license paid for by agency)
- Life & Health license preferred (or ability to obtain within first 90 days)
- Proven track record in sales, customer service, or business development
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through on tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computers, email, and Microsoft Office/Google Suite
Preferred
- Direct experience or familiarity with Farmers LMS (Lead Management System), APEX or CRM systems
- Strong persuasive direct sales experience with regards to bringing new business and cross selling existing business
- Bilingual skills a plus (not required)
- Strong closing ratios from lead to prospect conversions
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
