Irene’s Diner


We’re looking for a reliable, energetic Farmers Market Attendant to represent Irene’s Diner at local markets this summer through fall. This is a hands-on, independent role perfect for someone who enjoys early mornings, customer interaction, and being part of a small food business.


Schedule

• Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM 
• Wednesday: 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM 
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM 
• Sunday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM 

Season runs June 2 through October


Pay

• $150 per market day

Responsibilities

•  Transport products and equipment to and from market locations 
•  Set up and break down tent, tables, and full market booth 
•  Provide friendly, efficient customer service 
•  Handle cash and process transactions accurately 
•  Keep booth organized, stocked, and visually appealing 
•  Represent the Irene’s brand with a positive, professional attitude 

Requirements

• Must have a reliable car (you’ll be responsible for transport + setup) 
•  Strong customer service skills and a great attitude 
•  Comfortable handling cash and working independently 
•  Punctual, dependable, and able to lift/carry equipment 
•  Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

•  Someone outgoing and personable who enjoys talking to customers 
•  A self-starter who can take ownership of the booth 
•  Organized and detail-oriented, especially with setup and cash handling
