Stoltzfus Meats is seeking a Farmhouse Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Farmhouse Kitchen production team. This leadership role is responsible for coordinating food production activities, supervising team members, maintaining product quality standards, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations that support retail, wholesale, and distribution needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily Farmhouse Kitchen production operations and workflow
- Coordinate food preparation, assembly, packaging, and fulfillment activities
- Develop and manage daily production schedules based on operational needs
- Supervise and support Food Production Workers and kitchen team members
- Train employees on recipes, procedures, food safety, and operational expectations
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and feedback
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, GMP, and HACCP standards
- Monitor product quality, consistency, freshness, and presentation
- Monitor ingredient and packaging inventory levels
- Coordinate with bakery, retail, and distribution teams to support production demands
- Promote safe work practices and operational consistency
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen, food production, or food manufacturing experience required
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, GMP, and HACCP practices preferred
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive food preparation and packaging tasks
- Ability to work in kitchen and food production environments
