Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
- Define and execute a distinctive fashion vision for Cosmopolitan and Seventeen across print, digital, social, events, and emerging platforms.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the fashion market team, including full-time employees, freelancers, and external contributors.
- Partner with editorial and creative teams to conceive and execute compelling fashion packages, celebrity features, and style-driven editorial content.
- Style high-profile celebrity and fashion shoots while directing internal and external stylists to ensure a cohesive and elevated brand point of view.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with designers, brands, retailers, talent, stylists, photographers, creators, and other key industry partners.
- Represent Cosmopolitan and Seventeen as a trusted fashion authority at industry events, press opportunities, talent engagements, and internal meetings.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to develop innovative fashion- and retail-focused partnerships and branded programs.
- Monitor fashion, retail, celebrity, and cultural trends, translating insights into fresh, audience-focused editorial ideas and experiences.
Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
- 8+ years of experience in fashion editorial, styling, creative direction, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing creative teams.
- Extensive experience styling high-profile talent, supported by a strong portfolio of editorial work.
- Deep network across the fashion, retail, entertainment, and cultural industries.
- Exceptional creative vision with a strong understanding of visual storytelling across multiple platforms.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Passion for fashion, culture, and emerging trends, with the ability to translate insights into compelling editorial experiences.
- This position is based in New York City and follows a hybrid schedule, with an expectation of working in the office four days per week.

The base salary range for this role is $133,000–$150,000. This position is not eligible for bonus or commission compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
