FAST HIRE!! Forklift Operator 1st & 2nd shift

Marathon Staffing is hiring a Forklift Operator for a long-term, full-time temp-to-hire opportunity in Salisbury, NC.

Shifts:
• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• Overtime: Saturday as needed (work volume dependent)

Pay: Starting at $16.00/hour

What you’ll do:

• Load and unload trucks of filled or empty bins, barrels, and bottles
• Stack bins as necessary and move product between storage and production areas
• Complete required forklift operator paperwork
• Minimize damage to equipment and product
• Perform forklift inspections and report any safety issues
• Fill forklift with propane as needed

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years forklift experience
• Experience with sit-down and stand-up forklifts
• Ability to pass forklift certification
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow basic directions
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Commitment to safety (including wearing safety glasses as required)
