Fastener Cold Forming Machine Operator

Role Snapshot

• Shift: 2nd shift with a 5% shift premium
• Equipment: Multi-station Sacma and National cold heading machines
• Focus: Quality fasteners, steady throughput, safe operations

You Will

• Run and oversee cold forming equipment to hit production plans and meet part specifications.
• Conduct in-process quality checks using gauges and measuring tools to confirm parts meet customer standards.
• Load materials, make small adjustments, resolve basic issues, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Document production activity and escalate equipment or quality concerns to supervisors and maintenance.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies while achieving productivity targets.

What You’ll Need

• Experience operating cold heading equipment (Sacma or National experience preferred).
• Ability to interpret work instructions and use common measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical sense and comfort with basic troubleshooting.
• Setup experience welcome but not required.
• Ability to work independently on 2nd shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Bonus Points

• Experience on multi-die cold heading machinery.
• Understanding of fastener manufacturing workflows and quality expectations.
• Capability to complete setups and changeovers.
