REPORTS TO: Principal, RCHS

Qualifications

  • Hold a valid West Virginia teaching certificate, preferred.

  • Knowledge of Business Finance, Business Management

  • Employed half time at RCHS

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, and community members.

  • Knowledge of FBLA goals, programs, leadership development activities, and competitive events.

  • Ability to organize student activities, fundraising efforts, and travel arrangements.

  • Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, advise, and supervise student members of the local FBLA chapter.

  • Conduct regular chapter meetings and assist student officers in planning agendas and activities.

  • Promote leadership, citizenship, professionalism, and career readiness among students.

  • Prepare and supervise students participating in regional, state, and national FBLA competitions.

  • Coordinate chapter fundraising activities in accordance with county and state policies.

  • Maintain accurate membership, financial, and activity records.

  • Ensure compliance with FBLA, county, and school regulations.

  • Communicate with school administration, parents, and community partners regarding chapter activities.

  • Supervise students during meetings, events, conferences, and travel.

  • Submit required reports, registrations, and documentation by established deadlines.

  • Perform other duties related to chapter operations as assigned by the principal.

Time Commitment

  • Attend chapter meetings, leadership activities, competitions, and conferences.

  • Provide supervision outside the normal instructional day as required.

  • Participate in required FBLA training and adviser meetings.

Compensation: $400 upon completion of duties
