A day in this role
- Interpret detailed blueprints and translate them into accurate fit-ups and welds.
- Set up FCAW equipment for production, verify parameters, and prepare joints.
- Execute quality welds that align with 1G & 3G test expectations.
- Select and apply appropriate wire and filler materials for varying steel alloys and aluminum.
What you bring
- Ability to pass a 1G & 3G weld test.
- Confident blueprint reading and layout skills.
- Knowledge of wire and filler applications across steel alloys and aluminum.
- Proficiency in Tape Measure Reading, Welding Setups for Production, and Blueprint Reading.
