We are hiring experienced Structural Welders to support the T-ATS (Towing, Salvage, and Rescue Ship) program, a U.S. Navy new construction project at a leading shipyard.
Job Summary:
Weld structural metal components using FCAW in accordance with blueprints, work orders, and specifications. This role supports new construction of Navy vessels, requiring a high level of craftsmanship and consistency.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months FCAW 3G/4G structural welding experience
- Must pass a hands-on FCAW 3G/4G weld test:
- 3G position (downhill progression)
- 4G position (overhead)
- Previous shipyard or new construction experience preferred
- Must pass drug screen and fit test
- Strong work ethic and reliability
Work Environment:
- Shipyard setting (outdoors, heights, confined spaces as needed)
- Physically demanding role requiring lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Overtime and weekends may be required based on workload
Pay:
- $24–$26/hour (based on experience)

- Onsite weld test required for consideration
