Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic clinical team at Keck Medicine of USC, located in Los Angeles, CA. Keck Medicine of USC is the University of Southern California’s medical enterprise, one of only two university-based medical systems in the Los Angeles area.

The Keck Medical Center of USC, which includes two acute care hospitals: Keck Hospital of USC and USC Norris Cancer Hospital. The enterprise also owns the community hospital USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, and it includes more than 40 outpatient facilities, some at affiliated hospitals, in Los Angeles, Orange, Kern, Tulare and Ventura counties. In addition, we operate USC Care Medical Group, a medical faculty practice.

 The successful candidate will:

• Be responsible for supporting the outpatient populations in a surgical clinic;
• also be well versed in a variety of patient populations including GI and weight management;
• require a candidate that is self-motivated and enjoys building relationships for this newly created position;
• be experienced in PI/QI initiatives and interested in elevating best practice, in the absence of this experience, be excited and able to learn these processes;

 Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:

• Report to the Director of Clinical Nutrition and are a registered dietitian with at least 2-5 years of experience;
• has an advanced degree, master’s and/or advanced certification, preferred;
• take initiative, are innovative, and passionate about nutrition and elevating our practice;
• are self-directed, flexible, a team player and have excellent time management, verbal, and written communication skills.

Position Summary

Responsible for providing direct comprehensive nutrition servicesKey Duties-Directs nutrition care of special needs population to ensure nutrition needs and customer satisfaction levels are met. -Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction to ensure account retention.-Manages, promotes, and educates others on food and nutrition programs according to Sodexo standards and policy. -Collaborates and communicates with culinary and clinical departments on established processes, special diets, and menu requests and probes potential problems and apprises manager of status on resolution of problems or issues, using appropriate Sodexo resource when necessary. -Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. Health Dept., HIPAA/Privacy Act, Joint Commission, quality assurance, safety, operations, and personnel) by keep abreast of the most recent nutrition-related trends, research, policy, certifications, and standards of practice. -Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to other departments..

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
