SUMMARY OF HOSPITALITY AIDE/RESIDENT ASSISTANT POSITION

Grace Manor Care Center is seeking a friendly, dedicated and kind Hospitality Aide/Resident Assistant to support our residents in their everyday lives in our senior living community. We strive to provide care that exceeds industry standards and we are looking for a Hospitality Aide/Resident Assistant that wants to join that mission!

The fulfillment and satisfaction that comes with helping others surpass the challenges of this job. The ideal candidate for this role will be a compassionate, positive person who isn’t afraid to work hard.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure clients receive water and snacks in a timely manner
• Support residents who can’t move on their own to activity, rehab, chapel, and other parts of the community.
• Help residents maintain a cleanly appearance
• Help Dietary staff with table service and plate set-up.
• Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
• Provide emotional support
• Inform Executive Director, Director of Nursing or Supervisor about uncommon events
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

GENERALREQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a strong desire to work with the elderly
• One to two years of experience working with the elderly preferred
• Well-organized and reliable
• Excellent communication and people skills
