We are seeking a highly skilled FEA Engineer to join our dynamic team for a 12-month engagement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finite element analysis, particularly with non-linear static and dynamic modeling. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience in running non-linear static and dynamic Finite Element Analysis using Abaqus, Ansys, or equivalent CAE packages. Abaqus is strongly preferred.
Expertise in structural, thermomechanical, and heat transfer modeling.
Experience in modeling of different classes of materials including polymers, elastomers, soft adhesives, and brittle materials.
Experience with calibration, verification, and validation of models through physical testing.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with multi-functional teams, management, and external vendors.
Prior work experience in the large-volume consumer electronic industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Additional expertise in fracture mechanics, adhesive materials, electromagnetic, acoustic, and CFD.
Proficiency in Matlab, Python, and Abaqus User Subroutines.
Experience with using CAD tools such as NX, Solid-works.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Conduct finite element analysis to support product development and optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation results into design processes.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders and management.
