Description

  • Project Management: Manage federal construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate and communicate with federal agencies, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
  • Documentation: Review and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project correspondence.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure projects remain compliant with federal regulations, safety requirements, and contract specifications.
  • Quality Control: Monitor project costs, identify risks, and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Profile

  • Previous experience managing or assisting with federal construction projects is required.
  • Experience levels ranging from approximately 1-10 years will be considered, making this opportunity suitable for both emerging and experienced project management professionals.
  • Background as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar construction management professional.
  • Familiarity with federal project requirements, contracting procedures, and compliance standards is highly preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Must be able to report to the Rahway, NJ office when not traveling to project locations.
