What you'll Do
As the Superintendent, you will be the field leader responsible for driving project execution from mobilization through closeout. You'll coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, oversee safety, and ensure quality work is delivered on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and supervise daily construction activities on federal and government projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and craft personnel to ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules and look-ahead plans.
- Monitor production, productivity, and schedule performance while holding subcontractors accountable for results.
- Conduct daily reporting, inspections, and jobsite documentation.
- Partner with subcontractors to navigate federal construction procedures and requirements.
- Champion a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all project and regulatory safety standards.
- Investigate, document, and address safety incidents, concerns, and near misses.
- Work closely with Project Management to monitor labor, costs, budgets, and project performance.
- Review timecards, labor classifications, and Davis-Bacon compliance requirements.
- Manage purchase orders and track expenditures against project budgets.
- Coach, mentor, and develop field personnel while fostering teamwork and accountability.
- Resolve field challenges quickly to keep projects moving safely and efficiently
- Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of five (5+) years’ experience as a Superintendent on federal government projects.
- Ten (10) years’ previous experience with USACE or federal government construction projects or similar.
- Ability to monitor all trades.
- OSHA 30 Certified (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- EM 385-1-1 Training (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- USACE CQM training and certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and verbal / written communication skills are required.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
- You must be a US Citizen.
- You will be required to obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance.
- A valid driver’s license with a record that meets the CLP Fleet Policy is required.

- Salary range: $100,000-$130,000/annual based on experience plus eligible to participate in Short Term Incentive Plan.
