Position Information

Job Title Federal Work Study - Esports Assistant - Jamestown Full Time/Part Time Job Description

This position supports GTCC Esports operations. This position involves working with esports equipment and communicating with athletes/student leaders.

Duties/Functions

• Working with esports equipment to maintain updates
• Communicating with student leaders for programs that require esports staff assistance
• Performing all duties assigned by supervisor

Difficult Challenges

• Computer and technical skills-oriented environment
• Fast paced environment with fixed deadlines

Contacts

Daily: Esports staff, athletes, and club leadership

Education Required Education Preferred

Business, Computer Science, Simulation Game Design, or Information Systems program of study

Experience Required Experience Preferred

Knowledge of esports oriented programs which include: Discord, Game Launchers, and other similar programs

KSA Required

• Ability to use computers effectively
• Oral and written communication skills
• Interpersonal skills

KSA Preferred

• In-depth knowledge of multiple esports titles
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs
