Job Title Federal Work Study - Hospitality Education - Jamestown Full Time/Part Time Job Description

Provides assistance to Hospitality Education Kitchen Lab technician as needed with attention to food orders, maintaining sanitation standards, stocking lab coolers and freezers, and food preparation.

Duties/Functions

• Help with food orders and deliveries and food prep
• Stocking lab coolers and freezers for classes
• Maintaining records
• Assist with special events

Difficult Challenges

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Long periods of walking or standing
• Must be able to work one early shift and one late shift weekly
• Must be able to multitask

Education Required

• H.S. Diploma

Education Preferred

• Some prior culinary training

Experience Required Experience Preferred

• Kitchen food prep experience
• Serv/Safe Certified (Certificate in Sanitation Skills)

KSA Required

• Communication skills
• Quick learner
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

KSA Preferred

• Prior knowledge of food preparation
• Prior knowledge of sanitation procedures

• Hours: varies from 8 - 6 with one early start and one late stay shift weekly required
• Pay rate: $15.00 per hour
