This Federal Work Study position will support current students by providing a chance for students to have their products and artwork be sold and made available for display to the general public. In addition, this position will complement and reinforce a Federal Work Study student’s educational program or vocational goals by: Providing customer service experience in a retail environment and enhancing student’s organization and management skills.
Responsibilities:
Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in retail stores
Assist with stock management
Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
Process POS (point of sale) purchases
Assist with e-commerce purchases and customer service
Assist with e-commerce website management (content and product updates)
Assist with e-commerce product presentation (photoshoot, styling, lookbook, etc)
Assist with generating, editing, publishing and sharing engaging social medias content
Report and suggest ways to improve sales
Open and close retail stores
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of retail principles and customer service
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willing to learn retail and ecommerce operations, and marketing
Interested in fashion, social media, design, arts and etc.
Plus - Active on or interested in social media, and retail / customer service experience

Pay Rate:
$19.61 per hour
