San Bernardino Community College District accepts applications for Federal Work Study, hourly positions for our two college campuses (San Bernardino Valley College and Crafton Hills College) on a continuous basis. However, this does not imply the department is actively recruiting for this position. Applications submitted will remain active for up to one (1) year. Student worker will assist employees in the Student Services at the VPSS Department. Student workers are responsible for assisting the office of VPSS staff in the successful management and implementation of the student engagement experience including other programs and services. Students will be cross trained to work in several of these areas and provide assistance with general office duties to include the following areas: information desk, technical/operation, services, event logistics, clerical, diversity and inclusion. Must have the ability to work with a diverse student population. Due to the nature of the campus activities some early morning and evening availability may be required. ALL STUDENT EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO ATTEND MONTHLY MANDATORY TRAININGS. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
