Job Description
Department's Dean and/or Director: Elliott CharlesSupervisor: Joseph Niemir, Senior Assistant Director for OperationsLocation: Building and Floor: Post, PrattPurpose or role of the position within the organization (Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities):Under the general direction of the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Operations, the Coordinator assists with the execution of game/event operations as well as daily support for various athletic facilities Duties and Principal Responsibilities: Assist with the event/game management responsibilities for all home events/sports. Perform all necessary responsibilities as the primary or secondary event manager during home athletic events. Provide daily support for the operation and upkeep of the various athletic programs including laundry and equipment services. Education Requirements: LIU student enrolled in an active degree program Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience: Rate of Pay: minimum hourly rate $17/hour Period of employment: Begin Date: 9/1/24 End Date: 8/31/25 Evaluation procedures and schedules: LIU is an equal opportunity employer.
