Description The Career Programs Industrial Faculty Work-Study is responsible for supporting the Career Programs staff and faculty. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform/learn to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities To assist faculty in executing duties and responsibilities in the BSH, Ward, and Kelso Halls such as: • Assembling materials for the classroom when needed • Create CAD models and drawings as needed • Clean labs and equipment (such as 3D printers) when needed • Shop upkeep and general maintenance • Operate shop equipment as needed
Minimum Qualifications Enrolled as a current Craven Community College student, enrolled in a curriculum program eligible for the Federal Work Study Program. Available Mondays-Fridays: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Times will vary
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Student must be dependable, professional, and customer service oriented. • Student must have the ability to interact with students, staff and faculty in a courteous, business-like manner at all times. • Student must be organized and have attention to detail. • Student must be PC literate and proficient in word processing (MS Office), and CAD software
