Seeking a FedOps / DevOps Automation Engineer with strong experience supporting cloud-based and enterprise platforms in highly regulated environments, particularly federal environments.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), event-driven automation, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, monitoring, troubleshooting, incident response, and system optimization. The role focuses on building reliable, secure, scalable automation across ServiceNow, Polycloud, and enterprise platforms while adhering to federal governance and compliance standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support event-driven automation leveraging the FedOps framework.
- Build, maintain, and optimize automation workflows using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
- Develop reusable and scalable Ansible playbooks for:
- Alert remediation
- Self-healing
- Incident response
- Operational workflows
- Create and manage AAP job templates and workflow templates.
- Integrate automation with enterprise systems, including:
- ServiceNow
- APIs
- Infrastructure platforms
- Polycloud
- Support onboarding of applications and use cases into the FedOps framework.
- Ensure automation solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, governance, and operational standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation failures.
- Improve platform reliability, resiliency, availability, and performance.
- Collaborate with development, security, infrastructure, and operations teams.
- Support CI/CD, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and operational tooling.
- Continuously improve processes through automation and data-driven insights.
