Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Fedops Engineer for a Contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ, Dallas, TX, Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will drive automation and operational excellence by designing and supporting scalable event-driven workflows across enterprise platforms.

Rate Range: $47/Hour to $49/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Fedops Engineer Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and support event-driven automation solutions across FedOps and enterprise platforms.

• Build, maintain, and optimize automation workflows using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).

• Develop reusable playbooks for alert remediation, self-healing, and operational efficiency.

• Integrate automation tools with ServiceNow, APIs, and other enterprise systems.

• Troubleshoot automation failures and drive continuous improvements to enhance reliability and resiliency.

• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to streamline automation and support platform modernization.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, or enterprise platform support within regulated environments.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), including playbook development, workflow automation, and enterprise integrations.

• Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Shell) with experience in event-driven automation, incident management, and operational tooling.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
