We are seeking an experienced FedOps Engineer with strong expertise in Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), DevOps automation, and enterprise infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and supporting event-driven automation solutions across cloud and enterprise environments while ensuring reliability, security, compliance, and operational excellence. This role involves building scalable automation frameworks, integrating enterprise platforms, and modernizing legacy orchestration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support event-driven automation solutions leveraging the FedOps framework across ServiceNow, Polycloud, and enterprise platforms.
• Build, maintain, and optimize automation workflows using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
• Develop reusable and scalable Ansible playbooks for self-healing, alert remediation, and operational workflows.
• Configure and manage Job Templates, Workflow Templates, RBAC, and secure execution models within AAP.
• Integrate automation solutions with enterprise systems including ServiceNow, REST APIs, and infrastructure platforms.
• Support onboarding of applications and operational use cases into the FedOps platform.
• Troubleshoot automation failures and optimize workflows to improve operational resiliency and reliability.
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams to streamline software delivery.
• Drive modernization initiatives by migrating legacy automation platforms to Ansible Automation Platform.
• Continuously improve operational efficiency through automation, monitoring, and process optimization.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
• Experience developing and optimizing Ansible Playbooks.
• Expertise in:
  • Job Templates
  • Workflow Templates
  • RBAC (Role-Based Access Control)
  • Secure Execution Models
• Experience integrating AAP with ServiceNow, REST APIs, and enterprise infrastructure platforms.
• Strong scripting experience using Python, PowerShell, or Shell Scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with event-driven automation and operational tooling.
• Strong understanding of:

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Client Operations Orchestration (HPOO).
• Experience with Client Server Automation (HPSA).
• Experience migrating legacy orchestration platforms to Ansible Automation Platform.
• Exposure to enterprise automation ecosystems such as:
  • AutoSys
  • ServiceNow
  • SSP
• Experience working in regulated or federal enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
